What a mess…

This will be a short post, and you will see why…

This is my crafting corner/ workspace after finishing up rush orders this week. It is a complete mess. Am I ashamed? Nope.. because I know how much hard work I put in this week.

My biggest battle is storage. I am a craft hoarder. I see things I want to make or try, I buy it, and it sits…and sits.. with no where to go until I’m ready to make it. Anyone else out there like that?

In my journey to organize, I picked up these two the other day from Michael’s. They are currently on sale for $60, usually they are $100. The links are at the end of the post if you are interested.

How I wish my craft area looked like those on #craftroomsofInstagram or #craftroom. But right now it’s not. So, I will be spending the next few days cleaning and organizing my space. Luckily, I have my mini helpers to take on this task.

What do your craft areas/rooms look like at the moment. Is it in complete disarray or picture perfect? If you can change something in your area (desk, lighting, storage), what would it be? Let me know in the comments.

Welcome to Craftaholic Confessions!

Hello and welcome to my blog. I am your Crafty Confessor, Mece (for those trying to pronounce it’s Mee-ss), and this is a blog for all things Craft. A little about me:

  • SAHM (3 Kids, all girls, ranging from 1st grade to 11th, pray for me)
  • Wife (Great husband, bad crafter)
  • Small Biz Owner ( a little over 2 years now, selling my crafts)
  • Thrifter and thrifty (thank you Marie Kondo)
  • and have been diy and crafty before all mentioned above.

On this craft journey, you will see (and maybe learn) from my triumphant victories and my massive fails, and what worked and what didn’t work. I want to share what I know and have learned throughout the years and hopefully you can avoid my pitfalls. All from craft room setup disasters, to unfinished projects, to “When did I become a craft supply hoarder?”

This is also a opportunity for you to share and interact with me. If you know a better or easier way, please Confess. I wouldn’t know half the things I have learned if someone didn’t share with me. Confess your victories and massive fails. More than likely, we’ve all been there before. I am also launching a Private Facebook group soon, so that we can share our projects and crafts with one another. Comment, share, send messages, and Confess. All are encouraged.

Please Like and Subscribe (in my YouTube voice), so you can stay updated with this journey. Follow on Instagram and Facebook. I plan on having giveaways, freebies, field trips to my favorite crafting stores, sharing my favorite supplies, maybe host a few meetups (if you’re in my area of GA), and much more. I officially launch in April (details to follow soon along with a giveaway), so stay tuned.

XO,

Mece
